Angela Vroom


was born and raised in New Hampshire. From an early age, she displayed a fierce curiosity and desire to pursue diverse paths of creativity, expression, and enquiry. After studying at Emerson and Harvard, she spent time teaching Shakespearean language and performance workshops in Boston and the surrounding suburbs.


Upon relocating to Los Angeles, she began teaching art, yoga, and dramatic play for elementary school students.  Her experiences as a meditator and love of teaching led naturally to a desire to combine those two elements of her life.


For four years she studied meditation and the Veda (the 5,000 year old body of wisdom and source of yoga and Ayurvedic Medicine) with Thom Knoles -- a forty year veteran teacher, widely regarded as one of the world's pre-eminent experts on meditation and Vedic philosophy. Her studies continued while traveling in India and culminated in an intensive residential training program with Thom in Flagstaff, Arizona.
